WHAT IS FRANCOPHONE MOBILITY?

In order to promote Francophone immigration to Francophone minority communities, as of June 1, 2016, any foreign national who is destined to settle in a province or territory other than Quebec and who meets the requirements of jobs at levels 0, A or B of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) may obtain an exemption from the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMA) requirement.

THE ADVANTAGES OF FRANCOPHONE MOBILITY :

– Exempt from the labour market impact assessment process

– Shorter time frame (2 months – 3 months)

-Lower government costs

– The possibility of hiring Francophones and bilinguals to live and work outside Quebec

How can AOF Immigration Canada help you?

Through our partners, we help employers recruit French and bilingual people, assist the employer in the registration process in the government’s employer portal, and then apply for the work permit for the candidate.

Today, English and French speaking employers in Canada can recruit foreign workers through two main programs.

– Labour Market Impact Assessment (for English and French speakers)

– Francophone Mobility (for employers wishing to hire Francophones or bilinguals outside Quebec)

What is a labour market impact assessment?

A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMI) is a document that a Canadian employer may be required to obtain before hiring a foreign worker. A favorable LMIA indicates that a foreign worker must be hired to do the job. It also indicates that no Canadian workers or permanent residents are available to do so. A favorable LMIA is sometimes referred to as a confirmation letter.

We know how stressful the process of obtaining an LMIA can be for some employers. Where to start? how to do it? How to recruit from abroad? These are all questions that we answer. AOF Immigration Canada, thanks to its partners established in several countries, helps you to find the candidate(s) who are appropriate for you and we work hand in hand with the employer in order to obtain an APPROVED LMIA. In addition we make the work permit for the candidate.
